Jackson Huff is twenty years a special agent, and the Bureau has been punishing him for being right. At Federal Plaza he watches a crowd get turned into a picture. A notary named Héctor Salas tried to tell the system about three men with paper too clean. Nobody called him back.
The thread runs south, to Sabine Light on the Louisiana water, where a tank farm sits on a water bottom and a company named Caillou is buying rot. The first tank does not boil over. The next one is supposed to. Cameron Parish is already in the signature.
